The new storage is in place. All we need now is some drier weather, to stop the grass being so muddy. On that note, if anyone fancies paying to make my garden suitable for year round play, I wouldn't say no 😉

Thank you to all those who are signed up and using , you have significantly increased the number of donations I have received recently. This week I was awarded the grant to purchase the outdoor storage, which had previously been declined, and money from easy fundraising enabled me to make up the difference, as the price has increased since I applied for the grant. With some of the money from easy fundraising I have also purchased some stationery supplies i.e. felt pens, coloured pencils and craft kits. All money raised through easy fundraising will be used to purchase resources for the children. A big thank you to Newport City Council Childcare & Early Years Small Capital Grant Scheme and the Family Information Services Equipment Grant which enabled me to buy new car seats and these Moluk Bilibos. The Bilibos are great for, all age, sensory and open ended play. So far they have been used for spinning, rocking and as stepping stones aswell as being a mask a car and a turtle costume.

Every time we go onto the motorway, one of my little one calls out "dragon!" So today, as it's a lovely day, we decided to go for a walk and pay it a visit 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Doing our best to stay cool this morning.

It's been a while since I shared on my page but that doesn't mean we haven't been busy. We attend lots of groups during the week and today we're visiting Tredegar House and feeding the ducks and swans.

I think we've started a weekly visit to Tredegar House. We went last week and have been again today. The children had great fun splashing in the puddles, feeding the ducks and swans, climbing in the trees and jumping on molehills.
