First 2 days of GRADING week have passed and so far we have seen fantastic effort, determination and perseverance throughout the gradings. We can see how hard you’ve worked to perform your best!!!🙌🏼🥊

This Sunday is a BIG day for five of our students as they take the next step in their martial arts journey.

A black belt test is never just about punches, kicks or fitness. It’s about the person you’ve become along the way.

Over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching these young people grow into incredible role models.

💙 Rhys has grown tremendously in confidence, and his dedication to training has had a huge positive impact on his health and physical development. He’s become a fantastic example of what consistency and hard work can achieve.

💙 Jake has developed into a confident young leader. He now regularly arrives early to help coach and encourage our younger students, always leading with patience and enthusiasm.

💙 Joel has one of the most inspiring journeys of all. When he first joined us five years ago, he barely spoke and lacked confidence. Today he’s one of the fittest, hardest-working students in the academy and has become a leader within our competition squad, proving just how powerful belief, resilience and perseverance can be.

💙 Faith has blossomed into a wonderfully confident and caring young leader. She always steps forward to help others and naturally embodies the kindness and initiative we strive to develop in every student.

💙 Tommaso has shown that attitude beats talent every single time. Through extra training, determination and an outstanding work ethic, he’s earned his place as a valued member of our competition squad. His positivity, humility and commitment to living our Champion’s Character values make him someone we’re incredibly proud of.

This is exactly why our Champion’s Character Martial Arts & Personal Development Programme exists.

Yes, we teach martial arts.

But more importantly, we help young people become:
✅ More confident.
✅ More resilient.
✅ Better leaders.
✅ Kinder teammates.
✅ Hard-working individuals who believe in themselves.

Watching these five grow into the people they are today has been an absolute privilege.

Now it’s their time to show everything they’ve worked for.

We have tailored session to be less intense with more hydration breaks.
If you are training be sure to bring water !

We will be CLOSED: Wednesday 24th / Thursday 25th June.

BACK OPEN for Saturday morning sessions on the 27th June.

As we enter the final practice phase before GRADING week (13th–18th JULY), your hard work is about to pay off.

🥋 Grading Update – Please Read! 🥋

This term is a little shorter than usual (just 5 weeks), but we know how important progression is for our students 💪

👉 Grading will still take place in the final week of this term as planned (23rd - 28th)
👉 We’re also adding a catch-up grading in the first week back after half term for anyone who needs a little extra time (April 13th -18th)

This means everyone has a great opportunity to grade — whether you feel ready now or just need a bit longer to prepare.

✅ If you're aiming to grade this term, we strongly recommend booking early to secure your place and give yourself a clear goal to work towards.
✅ Early booking also helps us plan sessions and make sure every student gets the attention they deserve on grading day.
