Hey everyone, long time, no speak.
A slight update all the happenings.
- Doing well with my Open University degree and now 3 assignments in. Lots of learning and thinking 😵💫
- I am now officially a well-being coach with a local team ❤️
- My dog business is still thriving 🐶
- I have to have a full left hip replacement and the powers at be have suggested that to be before Christmas. 🤕
- All the girls at home are fine 😍
- I have some more external work over the summer festivals.
Life is ok, I'm still smiling even though it's chaos.
Just adjusting to learning how to wear different hats for the different days.
So.. over to you... how are you? 🤔

University has officially begun.
I started on 1st Feb and will be studying part time.
It's a long term study so thought I'd blog about it. I have taken to Tik Tok.
Come study with me 🥰

So... a New Year and already half way through the month 😵💫
I'm so excited to announce that as of the 1st February, I am officially a student... yes, at 37!
I am starting a Degree in Psychology (BSc Honours) 🥳
My plan is keep you updated as I go on subjects, modules, progress, my personal thoughts on certain subjects that I find fascinating.
Never taken myself as a studious kind of guy but unless I try.. I'll never know.
"Thoughts are NOT facts"
Happy days 🥰
Pic one = my study snug that's been designed to be comfy, warm and a place I want to spend my time in.
... the other pic is arranging my brain is some form of order 🥴

Been a while since I posted on here last.
Been a hectic month and I am personally looking forward to some downtime for the festive holidays. 😵💫
Over the festive period I would recommend you go at your own pace, try not to over commit or spend.
However we dress this singular day (25th of December) up, its still just one day and it will pass just like the others.
Nowadays we can be seen to be trapped into buying everything when the reality is 'most' people would just like to spend some time with you as life is busy.
If you don't have anyone to spend 'the' day with then plan a Christmas dinner somewhere or an activity you enjoy and look forward to it. Get creative. Also, Christmas does not have to be on the day. Plenty of people work this madness holidays and therefor celebrate it a little earlier or later.
I believe that there is always a way round things and with a positive mindset, I am sure you can too.

Timeline creating, goal establishing or countless lists with 'things to do'...
All sound familiar?
My advice... when you do achieve one of your goals, get a break through on your timeline or even cross off all the things on your 'to do' list.
Celebrate the f**k out of it! otherwise... your achievements will just blend into the 'norm' and become less impactful.
Be kind to yourself and celebrate the little things.

"It's about understanding and respecting both our own needs and those of others. Mastering empathy helps in striking the right balance between selfishness and selflessness. And mastering that balance is key in maintaining healthy relationships with others and ourselves."
Saw this the other day and resonated with this instantly.
You are not being 'selfish' by having time to be/ do you. Your time is only yours, who and how you spend your time is your priority.
Those who do not understand this, will not deeply understand you.
Over the years, I have spent time mastering doing things for me. I spend a lot of time doing things for others so, when I have a chance to do things for me... I jump at it.
As an insight I...
- Read
- Walk alone (with or without dogs)
- Watch TV programmes on my own
- Listen/ play music
- Study
.. These are just a few examples and I'm sure you get the idea.
Being alone does not mean I am alone or a loner, its just means I need time to readjust and be mentally healthy to then give my full to others. :)
Happy Tuesday!
