REMINDER: Don’t forget it is the first day for the SJHS Uniform shop tomorrow, Thurs 23 July, 10am-12.30pm. Pop in if you would like to browse our good quality, pre-loved uniform and pick up a few bits for next year. Each item has an optional donation of £2, of which goes to buy further clothing items for next year.
As the school year comes to an end, we wish all our pupils, staff, parents/carers and wider community a happy and restful summer. Thank you for your support this year - enjoy the holidays and we look forward to welcoming you back refreshed and ready for September!

The Youth & Play Service are delighted to invite you to celebrate Playday with us on Wed 5 August, at Rodney Parade, Newport.
Playday is an annual celebration of children's right to play. This year's theme is "Play – here, there, everywhere!", which focuses on encouraging and championing opportunities for kids to play in everyday, accessible environments.

Summer Sports and activities. There are lots of things on offer in Newport this summer for all children aged 7 and upwards, take a look at the posters below for some ideas.

SJHS SUMMER CONCERT. Please join us tomorrow between 5.30 and 7.15pm in the school hall to celebrate the end of the summer term and enjoy the musical talents of our pupils...and be home in time to watch the match!

SJHS UNIFORM SHOP: REDUCE, RECYCLE AND REUSE...
We will be opening the school again for two days this summer, all parents/carers/pupils can come and find pre-loved uniform, helping a little bit to reduce clothing waste in the world and equally help our community during a challenging financial period.
THURS 23 JULY & TUES 18 AUGUST, 10am - 12.30pm.
There is an optional charge of £2 per item, £1 per shirt (Please bring cash if poss) - ALL funds raised ensure all pupils have uniform through the year.

ECO SUCCESS.
St Joseph's have again been awarded the 'Eco-Schools Platinum Award' - an outstanding achievement. This is for schools that have championed the programme for over ten years. It celebrates a high level of dedication to pupil-led environmental improvement and an invaluable commitment to our planet’s future. The SJHS ECO Team, Mr Nunn and entire school community are incredibly proud of all their hard work and commitment has paid off again.

DATE CHANGE NOTICE: The date of the Camps International Parent Information Evening will now be the 6th July and will take place in school site between 6-7pm. This trip is suitable for Years 8 ,9, 10. Please register your attendance, or for further information with the QR code attached using school code 19207.
