Shivvy's Dance

I had so much fun with this lovely group of Ladies last Wednesday night - Rydettes Young WI .I taught them a Jazz musical theatre dance to Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York'.They really enjoy themselves and did a fantastic job learning the routine in an hour.👏 ❤️💃

After a long extended time away from this account and Shivvy's Dance Studio I wanted to communicate with my followers and let you know I am still dancing and teaching! 💃📚

I had taken a step back from Shivvy's Dance Studio as I was finding it a struggle to afford the venue with less students due to covid and working a full time job also had a big impact on the hours I could deliver classes and dedicate time to advertising, social media and even choreography.

So to take the pressure off, I have been teaching as a Freelancer for the past year or so. I am so very grateful for the opportunities I have had teaching for Ella Shepherd School of Dance and bringing Street Dance to her School. IOW Theatre Train, TEd Theatre education, Bounce Studio and doing some private work of my work.

If you have any enquiries for Hen parties, Dance parties, Wedding dances or just looking for some Choreography, please do get in touch.. I am still around and will do my best to post more often and communicate on here! 😄💃💃❤️

I just want to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been committed to Shivvy's throughout this pandemic and came to outdoor dance classes, performanced at 'A ticket to Ryde', handed out flyers and did 1-1 lessons (it wasn't particularly warm or light in October)... A special shout out to Luke Furmidge for taking every opportunity to Dance with us !! ❤️🕺💃

Getting back to it on the field 🌳 Great 1-1 class this evening.. even if we did get a little wet 🌧️ if step up 2 can do it, then so can we! 😁

You know when you start choreographing a new routine and think this isn't going to go well today🤦🏻‍♀️.. but then surprise yourself by just having fun and creating moves with no names !! well that just happened folks 😆👊 there's even a shaka brah in this routine 🤙 how cool are we !!

Street dance classes start in binstead on Wednesday 16th September.
7-11yrs @ 5.30-6.30
12+ @ 6.30-7.30
