On Sunday 26th April, Year 13 student, Mia S, achieved the phenomenal feat of completing the London Marathon! She ran to raise funds for Children with Cancer UK and raised over £1,000!
Everyone here at NGHS is so proud of Mia's efforts and she chose the charity because of her personal experience of two close friends who have suffered with cancer.
Mia commented that the Marathon was the hardest thing she had ever done but had the consolation of taking part in the first ever marathon that was completed in under two hours - so she is part of a record breaking day!
If you would like to donate to Mia's amazing charity you still can - please use the link below and see if we can raise even more money for her very worthy cause!
