As childminders, you understand that choosing childcare is one of the most important decisions parents will ever make—and it’s never taken lightly. For many families, childminders offer so much more than childcare. They become a trusted extension of the family, creating nurturing home environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

As part of our Magic of Childminding campaign, we are inviting parents in England and Wales to take part in a one-hour virtual forum (via Zoom) to share their experiences and perspectives on the impact childminders have on your children and your family life. Your insights will directly help shape our upcoming report, launching during Childminding Week 2026.

As a part of CORAM PACEY the campaign highlighting the benfits childminding can bring children and families. I wrote the following piece on how we support ALN children and their families in my setting.

I’m a childminder and I absolutely love my job! It's such a rewarding job watching watching the little ones develop new skills. All the families that have put their trust in me to look after their little ones, I couldn't thank them enough, I know how hard it is to trust someone else care for your little one. Some children have been with me just a short time and some children I have had from years but they have all been all become part of our childminding family., . Here's to some more years of amazing fun, adventures and welcoming more children to my childminding family in the future.
