John Frost PTA parents, teachers and friends of the school We are the Friends of The John Frost School the PTFA helping to fundraise and support the school. New members welcome :-)

Friends of The John Frost (previously Duffryn) school - parents, teachers and friends who help with fundraising as part of the school community. Over the years we have purchased many items and the group has organised the school prom annually since 2005. We have contributed towards school trips to reduce the cost for parents. We have provided equipment for the technology department and team kits for PE, books for English, dictionaries for Geography, theatre make up and masks for Drama, music sheets for Music and materials for Art. In order to carry on supporting the school the PTFA are concentrating on recruiting new members. Please leave your details with main reception at the school if you feel you can help. Raise free donations for The Friends of The John Frost School - Newport when shopping online with easyfundraising. It won’t cost you a penny extra.

All you need to do is:
1. Go to https://join.easyfundraising.org.uk/tfotjfs/2ONXON/s2s/Iw6YXgJX/PMCIN/instagram/ and join for free.
2. Install the app and Donation Reminder extension.
3. Activate your donation before shopping online and the retailer will automatically donate to us for free!

Hopefully you all had a great holiday and have settled into school life. We are back with our first meeting of the year on Thursday 24th Sept @ 5:30 in the school. We desperately need new members to continue the PTFA, a few key members will be leaving at the end of the year. Please consider joining us to support your young people, we raise funds by supporting school events, please come along to find out what we do.

The newly formed sixth form football team have trained and fundraised themselves with the school setting up matches. When we found out about them we were delighted to be able to help them with extra kit like balls, targets, ball pump, armband, markers and more.
