We teach children essential cooking skills for a healthy life in a fun and safe environment. Best of all, mums and dads get NO WASHING UP.

Discussing the merits of each ingredient helps develop children's awareness of nutrition allowing them to make better informed choices at meal times. This a good recipe for Sunday Roast leftover meat:

Organic pea and ham risotto.

Boil the ham with cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves for 10 minutes per 500g then roast it in a honey and mustard marinade. Eat with roast potatoes and veg and use what is left for a risotto:

30g cooked ham
30g of fresh peas
40g risotto rice
1/2 onion
1 clove garlic
glug of olive oil
pinch of pepper
pinch of parsley
200ml ham stock

Mix all the ingredients in a small terrine and oven cook for 30 minutes. When it is ready grate some fresh parmesan onto the hot rice. Yummy

Children learn to cook nutritionally balanced meals from scratch with the best organic ingredients. Discussing the merits of each ingredient helps develop children's awareness of nutrition allowing them to make better informed choices at meal times.

A sense of achievement and feelings of ownership towards their own creations encourages children to try a variety of foods alongside their peers when we sit down for lunch.

All recipes are oven based and there are no knives involved, permitting even the youngest of budding chefs to participate.

Food hygiene features routinely in our classes and activities that encourage cleanliness are part of the fun. Best of all, mums and dads get NO WASHING UP.
