I love nothing more than putting my pjs on at night...heck sometimes it's barely the kids bedtime before I'm putting them on lol 🀣

It's my way of getting comfy and relaxing, I try to get to bed by 9.30 so I can read some of my book before going to sleep. I find I sleep much better after reading than watching TV or scrolling....even if it is a Christmas book!πŸ“š πŸ™ˆ

Before I started my health journey I felt so out of control with my eating, I had so much shame and guilt around what I ate and how much I ate, I literally hated myself. 😞

If you have been following my journey because you are feeling the same then I'm here to say that there is hope for you. There can be an end to the days of dieting and starting again on a Monday, an end to feeling miserable, fat, guilty and out of control. I know there is because I am living proof that you can turn your life around. πŸŽ‰

It doesn't have to be as extreme as leaving sugar behind completely, that worked for me because I literally couldn't go a day without it. It can be learning to put yourself first, making sure you prepare in advance for those busy days, it can be putting your gym sessions in the diary so that nothing else takes over, it can be making sure you go for a walk and get those steps in for the day. πŸ‘

The truth is, improving the way you feel about yourself goes hand in hand with what you eat, and how much you move. Realising you are worth making the time and effort for, and that there is no one else on this planet that cares about you, and your health, as much as you should. πŸ₯°

You don't need another Monday start, you don't need another promise that "this week will be different."

You don't need another strict plan, unrealistic diet, or all-or-nothing approach, what you need is consistency.

Every week, I see women putting enormous pressure on themselves, they decide Monday is the day everything changes.

They'll exercise every day, cut out sugar completely, drink more water, get up earlier, journal, meditate, meal prep and by Wednesday, they're exhausted.

Not because they can't do it, because they're trying to do too much.

Real transformation isn't built through dramatic changes, it's built through small actions repeated over and over again.

A ten-minute walk, an extra glass of water, five minutes of journaling, choosing progress over perfection.

The women who succeed aren't doing more, they're simply doing what matters most consistently.

This week, instead of asking yourself, "How much can I do?" ask yourself, "what can I realistically commit to?" then start there.

Ask yourself:

✨ Where did I show up for myself?
✨ What do I need more of?
✨ What do I need less of?

So many women spend their lives looking after everyone else while ignoring their own needs but your goals matter too.

Your wellbeing matters too, your happiness matters too - you don't have to wait until you're burnt out to make a change, you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

The women who get the best results aren't always the most motivated, they're the women who decide.

They decide they're no longer willing to stay where they are, they decide they're worth investing in, they decide they're tired of waiting for the perfect time and then they take action.

Even when they're scared, even when they doubt themselves, even when life feels busy.

Success isn't about having more confidence before you start, confidence is built by keeping promises to yourself, one small action at a time.

If you're waiting until you feel completely ready, you could be waiting forever, sometimes the decision comes first, the confidence follows.

A client came to me thinking she needed more willpower but what she actually needed was support.

When she first came to me, she felt overwhelmed. She knew what she wanted to achieve, she'd tried countless diets, fitness plans, and self-help strategies but she couldn't seem to stick with anything - not because she wasn't capable, because she was exhausted.

Together, we worked on more than workouts and habits, we worked on confidence, boundaries, self-belief, all the stories she'd been telling herself for years.

Something incredible happened - she stopped waiting to feel ready, stopped aiming for perfection and started trusting herself.

The result was more confidence, more energy, consistency and most importantly, a completely different relationship with herself.

3 reasons you're struggling to stay consistent (and it's probably not because you're lazy).

1. You're relying on motivation.
Motivation comes and goes, the women who achieve lasting results build habits that work even when motivation disappears.

2. You're trying to change everything at once -new workout plan, new diet, new morning routine - it's overwhelming.
Small, consistent actions create far more success than extreme changes.

3. You're focusing on behaviour instead of the reason behind it, most women know what they need to do, the challenge is understanding what's stopping them from doing it.
Stress, overwhelm, lack of confidence, people-pleasing, self-sabotage -that's why mindset matters, because lasting change starts from the inside out.
