Canoe Sport Coaching

HELP NEEDED .

I am looking for a CORE coach and SW Coach provider to step in for me to deliver a couple of courses in the heart of Bristol . Unfortunately my recovery from countless operations and medical negligence has delayed my return to work.

The courses are fully booked with six very keen paddles from the Bristol Guiding and Scouting community.

Dates are :

15-16th March 2025 CORE coach training
5-6th April 2025 Sheltered Water DST

Great to be back working with the team from
Young Bristol , developing decision making , encouraging adaptability and preparing them for future courses whilst delivering a Paddle UK- PaddleSport Safety and Rescue course .

Had an opportunity to catch up with a great friend last week , back to one of our favourite little rivers? I am sure you will recognise it if you have paddled it .

After a couple of seasons away from full time paddling and course delivery I have decided to get back into what I love the most , introducing , developing and inspiring people to get afloat , explore , embrace and just enjoy the amazing outdoor environment through paddle sport .

I have been busy delivering into to White water sessions, Paddle sport leader training and assessments and have just delivered our latest Paddle sport instructor course for the team at PGL.

Amazing being back what I love doing most of all..

Looking for someone to step in and run a 2 day Progressive Canoe award for me next week , Thursday and Friday 24/25th in south /Mid Wales . Candidates are ready to go with all kit .. drop me a message if you can help

A great weekend working with the Sea Cadets near Birmingham delivering a British Canoeing PSi Course . Really good and well done to everyone who successfully completed their qualification , inspiring and passionate young paddlers coaching young paddlers 👍

I have just taken on an interim head of centre role and we are looking at expanding our team of quality instructors. The centre is based near Crickowell in the black mountains.

We have a mixture of on and off site activities and ideally would like instructors with a range of qualifications , including paddling ( PSI ) , and ability to tow a trailer, caving , climbing and walking . Experience in leading educational off site visits, basic bushcraft would also be useful.

Another PSL assessment today in a very wet and windy Essex with the team from blue therapy . Well done to all those who challenged the conditions and gave up their weekend to be mock students.
