Eve Coils Childminding Service I have been qualified in Childcare since 2009. I've had a wide range of jobs involved in education from ages of 0-19 years old My name is Eve Coils.

I'm 32 years old, Married with 2 boys (7& 4) I have 1 dog called Ivy ( she has been around young child since 8 weeks old so it used to noise and she loves to be petted.) I am based in Newmill, 1 mile away from Keith for 3 years. My goal for childminding is to show the children new experiences outdoors in nature and develop their milestones in a exciting way that are age stage appropriate. My pass

ion is children, I love seeing how children get excited when they have developed a new skill or reached a new milestone. I charge £5 per hour for childminding

☀️☀️ This week so far☀️☀️

Monday- F & O enjoyed playing with each other after the holidays & extra week off. They loved playing with the road on the floor & new table, they asked if they could have their lunch on it,
Ofcourse they could.
We headed to Tescos as North church toddlers is on the blue coin board.

Tuesday- we headed to Soup & Sweet both O & R loved their soups & pudding, think would have had extra helpings 🤣. It was great to speak to people from the community who we haven’t seen since before christmas and asked how we are all are.
We then headed to our friends house for a playdate.

Thursday- We headed to Wynford Farm for the day with our friends.Both R & F loved brushing & petting the guinea pigs and feeding the goats. F loved seeing the cockerel & chickens. R loved the pigs.
We headed to the soft play where both F & R loved playing with K.

✨✨ I had 2 builders helping tonight by building our new multi functional table from writing area, arts & craft table to baking table. I always aim to evaluate and develop my playroom to ensure the children have high quality environments to thrive.

This week we have had another busy week doing different christmas activities and parties.

Monday- superheroes entered the setting. All the boys loved the dressing up costumes that were brought out.

Tuesday- we went to soup & sweet.

Wednesday- we went to newmill tots and saw Santa (never got chance to get any photos as we were so busy sorry), after lunch we headed to Newmill Primary for their Christmas Fayre.

Thursday- we headed to Keith Tots xmas party 3/3 done. The boys loved seeing Anna & Elsa & especially Santa.

Friday- it was messy play at North Church Toddlers. In the afternoon we did some Christmas matching game. All the boys loved playing this game & trying to find the correct pairs.

All the boys were really enjoying the wooden blocks, they built lots of towers and houses.

1st Christmas party of the week. The boys loved the bouncy castle and crafts. They all used their fine motor skills to glue & put on the cotton balls for Santas beard.

F really enjoyed knocking over the snowman cups and stacked them back up.

K loved putting the baubles onto the tree & off again.

🎄🎅🏻 it’s beginning to look like Christmas🎅🏻🎄

This week we have began to make the setting feel like Christmas! K, F helped decorate the christmas tree.
K chose the tree & decorations & lights in Tescos a couple of weeks ago and has been excitingly waiting to put it up.

✨We will be doing christmas activities in the run up to christmas! ✨

We headed to soup & sweet this week as we haven’t been in a while and was great to see
It busy and being able to chat to some lovely ladies.

We went to Newmill Toddlers for their pj & hot chocolate session.

Last week-

We visited our friend/fellow childminder in her new house. K,O& F loved playing with their friends and having different toys to play with. F loved playing with the chalkboard.

Thursday- we headed to Dunnyduff woods with other friends. We picked up different types of sticks, pinecones and looked at different mushrooms.

Friday- at North Church Toddlers it was messy play day. O & F loved painting with brushes & also their hands.
Back at Eve’s all the boys built a huge tower with blocks.

✨Wednesday- We headed to Newmill tots as we were celebrating world nursery rhyme week, with different nursery rhymes sensory trays. K & F loved old macdonald. They were very tempted to eat the hay (wheatabix).
I discussed with K how we need to look after our animals. When asked how do make our pets happy? K answered “ food, water, walk”

This led us on how to check dogs for cuts or ticks, we had a very willing volunteer to show K, K used kind hands to look at Ivy’s body and he said “no cuts.” ✨

🌧️Thursday- After keith tots, we headed to Tallyblake woods with some friends from tots, for a very wet walk & picnic. F found a shark tooth in the water, whilst looking it started to hailstone. K & F loved how the hail fell on each others coats.

After lunch they used their imagination when seeing the wooden bear. It was great to see how their imaginations are developing and working together. 🌧️

We had a fab time in Lossie this morning. We were invited by our good friend/fellow childminder for a walk in lossie & bookbug. We jumped at the chance too!

Whilst on the walk we stopped off at the play park then headed towards the river. Whilst on the way we saw the remembrance displays. We stopped to explain to the children what it all meant and see how beautiful the display was.

We then headed to bookbug where we socialised with other childminders from Elgin.
We did lots of nursery rhymes & story, R, F & K loved singing and doing the actions.
