Here’s part 2 of our chat with Ishy, looking at why black representation in racing is important - not just for him as an individual, but for the benefit of the whole industry.

We’re so proud that Ishmael is doing so well in his career so far, and also that he is so passionate about sharing his experiences too. We can’t wait to watch him progress even more!

Far be it from us to suggest that Head of Coaching, Richard Perham, is any older than the 25 years he claims, but eagle-eyed watchers will notice that the date on this picture of his very first winner, is exactly 40 years ago today......

Congratulations Richard, and thank you for sharing your knowledge, enthusiasm and boundless energy with us all! 🥳

It's World Teacher's Day today, and we want to celebrate our AMAZING team of instructors, coaches and tutors, who tirelessly give their best to better the lives, knowledge and future opportunities of our students, not just on site at BRS, but when they head to the workplace too.

It's hard to know how best to share their achievements, but we think that the words of parents and carers speak volumes.

Here are just three of the many testimonials we receive from the families of our students. The emotion, the messages and the possibilities speak for themselves.

So to all of our teaching workforce - THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts, we think you are incredible. 🫶

We never want to say it too loudly, you know we love them all for their own individual quirks, BUT......

Everyone has a favourite horse don't they?!

We love to see former students back at BRS, and it was great to see the smiling face of Ishmael (and friends) this week.

With October marking it was a perfect opportunity to catch up with him and find out what inspired him to join a career in

Course 400 are into their third week at BRS and are (mainly!) still smiling 😀

They have got into the swing of life at the School and the initial shock of early mornings, living away from home, getting to know new people and new horses is feeling a little less daunting.

All of our new students were a “prospective” student once. They all took that brave first step of attending an open day, or applying for a course, and if they can do it, YOU CAN TOO!

Head to the link in our bio (or send us a message) to find out more about our Foundation Courses and how you can get involved,✨
