It’s the nanny in me, I love an activity that keeps giving!

Maternity nurses and nannies up and down the country have a good idea on room temperature according to their pot of coconut oil!!

If your baby’s room is really hot tonight, let them fall asleep with the fan rotating near to them, then once they’re asleep open their curtain and the bedroom door to let air circulate during the night 💛

Winding your newborn can make such a difference to their comfort, their ability to feed well and ultimately how well they sleep …

Pass this on to any of your friends who have a newborn to help them have happy and content little ones

How are your little ones coping in the heat?

Keep an eye on their nappies to make sure they’re nice and wet

Keep the airflow in their room going by opening windows and keeping doors open, a fan is great on swivel mode

Sleeping just in a nappy or with a 0.5 tog sleeping bag is best

A nice sink bath is great for cooling them down and making them more comfortable
