What a first week of Holiday Club at Newlyn School. Today is our busiest day yet, with 29 children and staff visiting our friends at St Michael's Mount. There are lots of smiles, plenty of excitement and lots of laughs from staff and children. Well done Team Newlyn, a fantastic job for our wonderful community this Summer. & Penwith Academy Trust

Newlyn School Summer Holiday Club 2026 - Limited Spaces Available!

Funded Time2Move spaces are available for eligible families, alongside paid spaces, so children can join us for a day, a week or 2 weeks!

We are delighted to share the itinerary for our Newlyn School Summer Holiday Club. We have planned two weeks of exciting activities, outdoor adventures and fun experiences for the children to enjoy.

Please note: A change of clothes is recommended every day, just in case!
Week 1

🛴 Penlee Park Visit and Scootering Fun

To pay for new equipment for the playground FONS are holding a sponsored walk in the summer holidays. If you're interested please collect a sponsorship form from the office before summer holidays

Well done to all the children that took part! A great day 🥳

Such a fabulous (boiling hot! 🔥) day at the Cornwall School Games today hosted by Mounts Bay Academy, in collaboration with Active Cornwall.

The Cornwall School Games (CSG) included a variety of sports events from cricket, running, rounders and even scooting! 🏏🛹🏃‍♂️‍➡️

The CSG celebrates competitive sport, inclusion and opportunity for young people across Cornwall, with the event being run by young people, for young people.

It was great to see so many TPAT schools taking part. A huge thank you and well done to everybody involved in making today happen 🙏
