🚦🚧 roadworks are coming back to the big roundabout!
Six weeks starting from Sunday 31st Aug!
Make sure you leave plenty of time to get to classes from next Saturday!

🚨 IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTICE – PLEASE READ 🚨

⚠️ MAJOR ROADWORKS FOR 6 WEEKS ⚠️

If you are travelling to the crematorium, please be aware that major roadworks will be taking place at the roundabout just along from the crematorium for approximately 6 weeks starting on 31/8/26.

🚦 4-WAY TRAFFIC LIGHTS WILL BE IN OPERATION, which means delays are likely and journeys may take considerably longer than usual.

👉 Please allow plenty of extra time for your journey, especially if you are attending a funeral or service.

📍 PLAN AHEAD • LEAVE EARLY • EXPECT DELAYS

Please share this post so that anyone travelling to the crematorium is aware and can plan accordingly.

✨ A personal milestone I'm incredibly proud to share! ✨

I'm absolutely delighted to have successfully passed my Membership Modern with the BATD! 💙

This means I now hold:
💃 Fellowship Freestyle

⭐ Associate Ballet
⭐ Associate Jazz
⭐ Associate Stage

For me, gaining qualifications isn't just about adding letters after my name. As a dance teacher, I believe it's so important to continue learning, developing and maintaining the highest teaching standards. Professional qualifications ensure that classes are taught safely, correctly and progressively, giving every dancer the best possible foundation while nurturing their confidence, technique and love of dance.

Dance is constantly evolving, and I feel it's my responsibility to keep my knowledge and skills up to date so I can provide the very best training and opportunities for every student at Ruth Brown Dance.

I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported and encouraged me throughout my journey. Achievements like this remind me why I love what I do, and I'm excited to continue growing as a teacher while helping my dancers reach their own goals.

Thank you to the BATD and Miss Gallagher of STAGE DANCE School for another wonderful learning experience. Here's to the next chapter! 💙✨

🩰 **New Term Timetable** 🩰

We hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! ☀️

We're so excited to welcome all of our dancers back for another fun-filled term. Our updated Saturday timetable is now ready, with our Primary and Junior Ballet & Jazz classes now running as separate 30-minute classes. This change will give each class more focused teaching time and help every dancer continue to grow in confidence and ability as we work towards our exams.

Our Summer Show, *Lights, Camera, Action!*, is this Saturday and we are so excited! 🌟

A reminder to all dancers to arrive in their first costume ready to go 2:00pm. The show will begin at 3:00pm sharp. 🎭💃🕺

There are only a few tickets remaining, so grab yours before they're gone! 🎟️

We can't wait for you all to see the incredible performances our dancers have been working so hard on. It's going to be a fantastic afternoon of entertainment, energy, and sparkle! ✨
