Non-uniform day to raise money for on this rainy Friday 🌧

The juniors started the day with a burst of energy thanks to 🤸‍♂️ and we raised over £60 through non-uniform donations.

At Pauntley, we believe that celebrating our children’s achievements, big or small, helps them grow in confidence and pride. 💛

In May Hill Class, each child has their very own proud peg where they can display a piece of work they’re especially proud of. The choice is completely theirs. It might be a drawing, work on phonics, or a piece of art that made them smile.

It’s such a lovely way for our children to practise self-reflection and recognise their own effort and progress. We love seeing how excited they are to share their work and cheer one another on! 🌈

How wonderful to see so much pride, positivity and joy in our classrooms each day ✨

What better way to understand history than to live it for a day?

Our pupils became evacuees on the last week; learning first-hand about the Second World War and the resilience of children their age all those years ago.

A memorable experience and a moving reminder of the importance of kindness, courage and never forgetting our history.

Thank you so much to all the staff at GWSR for a fantastic day for our students.
