I’ve always believed in learning for everyone, but working hands-on with accessibility testing reminded me that we still have a long way to go.

It’s easy to focus on guidelines and compliance, but real accessibility is about people, not policies.

💡 Are we designing with real users in mind, or just checking off requirements?
💡 Are we actually listening to those who rely on assistive technology every day?
💡 Are we pushing for innovation, or just doing the bare minimum?

Accessibility isn’t a destination—it’s a continuous journey.

AI Quest: From Concept to Reality 🚀

From an idea to a fully-fledged learning experience—The AI Quest has been an incredible journey! 🎮💡

This project started with a simple concept: to create an engaging, game-based blended learning programme that would help learners explore AI in a hands-on, immersive way. From early prototyping, trial runs, refining interactions, and gathering learner feedback, every stage brought new lessons and challenges.

✨ Key Takeaways:
✔️ Prototyping is everything—test early, test often!
✔️ AI is exciting but needs context—we focused on real-world, practical applications of AI.
✔️ Learner feedback is gold—iterating based on user insights made the experience stronger.

🎄 As 2024 draws to a close, I can’t help but reflect on what an incredible (and busy!) year it’s been. From exciting new projects and new clients, to personal milestones and plenty of lessons learned, it’s been a whirlwind in the best way.

💡 Anyone else struggle to pick just one idea and stick with it at times? 💡

Running my business means I’m never short on ideas—only time. Some days, I find myself pulled in multiple directions, each idea demanding its own spotlight. It’s exciting but exhausting, and let’s be real, the struggle to focus is real!

What’s a practical way to tackle this? For me, it’s about prioritising. I’ve started jotting down my ideas, then choosing one or two that feel most aligned with my goals for that period. It’s a work in progress, but it’s helping me turn ideas into action rather than letting them sit in my mind or, worse, spread me too thin.
