Lately we were getting a lot of questions about MiYO so we wanted to share some knowledge with you!

InSync is a traditional stain and glaze system comprised of stains that all have the same opacity/translucency and a single glaze material (InSync!). It’s widely used on all layered zirconia, lithium disilicate and metal ceramic restorations.

MiYO is a new finishing system designed primarily for monolithic restorations. It gives your monolithic restorations a layered look without actually layering. The MiYO finishing system includes:
Highly opacified stains used to reproduce mamelons
Medium opacity stains which are used to create a “Halo” effect on incisal edges
Translucent stains which replicate incisal and cervical translucency
Thixotropic structure pastes which build structure and surface texture. Structure pastes contain layering materials that fully glaze when fired but retain even fine surface detail. Structure pastes exhibit a light scattering effect similar to layered enamels but in thicknesses as little as 0.1mm which make them ideal for monolithic restorations.
