🌟😎 KS2 Award Winners 😎🌟

Congratulations to this week’s award winners. Pupils have shown responsibility, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning — keep shining bright Westgate Hill! 😎🌞❤

Year 5 had a ‘farmtastic' time visiting Whitehouse Farm earleir this week! As part of their science and geography curriculum, the children learnt all about life cycles and conservation. They got to stroke, feed, and cuddle a variety of animals, ride the castle catapult, experience a tractor ride through a field of horses, cows and sheep, play on either the adventure playground or the soft play, and go crazy on the jumping pillows. An experience they certainly won’t forget! 😍🐭🐰🐍🐴🦆

Another week of Westgate Hill superstars. Amazing talents, superb manners and ongoing hard work have all led to these pupils achieving either a Headteachers award or a Good to be Green award. KS1 attendance award winners were 1KC and 2NC, both achieving weekly attendance of over 99%! Keep it up team Westgate!

🎖 OFSTED Report - April 2026 🎖

We are very pleased to announce that our Ofsted report is now live! We have achieved 'Exceptional' in the Inclusion section which is absolutely phenomenal. Only a handful of schools across the country have managed to achieve this. Inspectors commented, 'The approach to inclusion is of the highest possible quality.' 🥇

As the weeks pass by, our winners continue to excel at Westgate Hill. All of KS1 have been working so hard on their phonics this week. Well done to everyone who achieved a Headteacher's award or Good to be Green award in KS1 this week. Attendance awards were won by 1ND and 2JA. Absolutely AMAZING! 🏆🏆

We were so lucky to welcome our wonderful families into school today to celebrate Eid al-Adha. Thank you to all our parents for supporting our school and also bringing so much delicious food for everyone to enjoy. Special thanks go to Mrs Muhmud, Mrs Uddin plus our amazing governors and parent helpers for organising and making the event so special. Eid Mubarak!
