🏆 Community Recognition Award 🏆

We are delighted to share that Newbiggin Learning Hive has been awarded a Special Recognition Certificate by ASDA Ashington in recognition of our contribution to the local community. 💛🐝

The award was presented by ASDA Community Champion, Amanda Sheldon, to our Learning Hive Tutor, Melanie.

This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication and support of everyone involved with Newbiggin Learning Hive – our staff, volunteers, partners and the wonderful community members who attend our sessions and activities.

✨The Feel Good Feed ✨

🌟From Anxiety to Achievement 🌟

We are incredibly proud of this amazing young person and everything he has achieved over the last two years working with one of our Young People’s Project tutors within our alternative provision.

From struggling with high anxiety and confidence, to now working towards Level 1 qualifications and travelling independently to sessions — his growth has been incredible to witness.

His determination, resilience, and willingness to step outside his comfort zone have been inspiring, and we can’t wait to see what he achieves in his final year.

A huge well done from all of us at the Northern Learning Trust 👏

At 81 years old, one of our learners at Bedlington Learning Hive set out to achieve something many of us take for granted — learning to read and write. His determination, courage, and commitment have been truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he has come.
