Our KS2 Sports Days today were fantastic in a new format—big thanks to Mr Smith for organising, DJ-ing and being race starter! Thank you to everyone who came along to cheer, we hope you had lots of fun too!

⚽️ Supporting Our Community ⚽️

Today - two of our passionate football coaches, Dale and Becka, were proud to support Darras Hall Primary School Sports Week, delivering football sessions to Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.

It was brilliant to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork and competitive spirit on display. We worked with children who were completely new to football alongside those who already play regularly and every single one gave their best effort.

We’re looking forward to returning later this week, when Michael and Chloe will be coaching the remaining year groups, ensuring every child has the opportunity to get involved and enjoy the game.

A huge thank you to Dale and Becka for giving up their time to represent Ponteland United and support the local community. We’re proud to work with our local schools and inspire the next generation both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising this year’s Big Summer Bash. An incredible amount of time, effort and enthusiasm went into making the event such a success. I’d also like to thank our staff team, who gave up their time to organise and run stalls alongside a willing team of volunteers. It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying the afternoon together and helping to create such a brilliant community atmosphere. As well as providing a wonderful experience for everyone, the event has also raised a fantastic amount of money for our school. We will share the final total as soon as all the donations have been counted.
