✨ Meet Claire! One of Our Early Years Practitioners ✨

Claire brings a wealth of experience to our team, with a unique journey into Early Years that began in hairdressing before discovering her passion for working with children!

Her career started by supporting her own children’s nursery and school, helping with reading and trips, which led to a role in a breakfast and after-school club. From there, Claire completed her childcare qualifications and progressed quickly, working in a playgroup and nursery where she advanced to Deputy Manager and later Manager.

Since 2009, Claire has worked across a variety of settings within North Tyneside. She also embraced a new challenge in residential childcare, supporting children and young people up to 17 years old across Northumberland and Cumbria.

However, Claire soon realised her true passion lies in Early Years (especially pre-school) bringing her back to nursery life.

💬 “There are no two days the same in this job. I love creating exciting activities where children can learn through play in a safe, nurturing environment.”

From setting up engaging activities and tuff trays to making playdough and planning enriching experiences, Claire ensures every day is full of fun, learning and discovery.
