Our final photos from Great Tower. We're sure you've heard plenty of stories about all the adventures—and with any luck, the children have finally caught up on some sleep! 😄
They were a fantastic group to take away and represented Farne brilliantly throughout the residential. We couldn't have asked for a better group of children; their enthusiasm, resilience and sense of fun made it memorable from start to finish. Thank you year 6!

Year 6's adventures over the last two days: paddleboarding, raft building; zip wire, leap of faith and crate stacking. We are proud of all children taking on these challenges and facing their fears and showing their talent! Very mixed weather, yesterday was sunny, today was very wet but didn't stop us enjoying a campfire. The children are all safe and sound ...looking forward to seeing their families tomorrow 🤗

On Tuesday we were delighted to welcome dental nurses Meg, Sofia and Ellie to our Reception class. They talked to the children about the importance of good oral hygiene, including how to brush their teeth correctly and why it is important to brush twice a day. The children also learned about healthy eating and how choosing nutritious foods can help keep their teeth strong and healthy. The children were shocked to see how much sugar was in one can of fizzy pop! Everyone enjoyed the visit and learned lots of useful tips for looking after their smiles.

Today, Mr Gallon led a lovely last day assembly about independence and staying safe during the half term holiday, sharing important reminders about making sensible choices and looking after ourselves and others. The children also chose a football team linked to the World Cup which they will be researching for an upcoming presentation to showcase their speaking and presentation skills. We wish all our children and families a happy, safe, and relaxing half term holiday!☀️⚽️
