TinyTalk Baby Signing - Gosforth & Jesmond

This is Gracie-Mae, who attended TinyTalk classes at TinyTalk Erewash Baby and Toddler Signing. She is appearing in a brand new series called Tiny Tunes on CBeebies.
There are 30 TinyTunes episodes, each one featuring a signed nursery rhyme, with both deaf and hearing children learning together.
Gracie-Mae’s family is a brilliant example of why this matters. Her mum and dad are deaf, Gracie-Mae is deaf, her little brother is hearing.

It’s been a busy 2 days, but so much fun 🐣🐰 Thank you to everyone who has been part of my classes this spring term.

This week marks the end of the Spring term … which means … it’s our EASTER themed classes 🐣🐰
I’ve been busy today prepping, printing and baking for tomorrow’s classes - 17 certificates and 43 cupcakes 🧁😁

I haven't took any signing certificate photos for AGES! So I changed that this week.
We handed out a lot of certificates to our clever babies. Here are just some of them.

🤪 It does make me laugh trying to get these photos. We try to not have the babies crumple the certificates - but they grab them, wave them about and eat them!
I have to take about 6 photos of each baby just to get one that we can use ... and we've not even factored in blinking or looking away 😂

Today is International Women's Day.
I wanted to give a big shout out to the amazing women who attend my classes. You are all wonderful and inspire me. I'm lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful women; at work and in my personal life.

One of my class mums has a stall at this fayre on Sunday, so I thought I’d share about it here. It looks lovely.

The ‘Not Just Plum Jam Craft Fayre’ (they have a FB page of the same name) is at Wylam Institute, Church Road, on Sunday 8th March, 11 am to 4 pm, bursting with handmade delights and cheerful inspiration!
And there’s a complimentary glass of fizz
ready for grown-ups on arrival!
