Last night at crafty kids we started to look at weaving. Our aim is to make a brightly coloured pattern and turn this into our own penguin. We found this tricky but persistence paid off. We’ll complete part 2 next week.

Children in Language Unit 2 had a fabulous day at the Centre for Life today. They took part in a workshop on light to consolidate their knowledge and enjoyed exploring the centre. Their behaviour and attitudes were outstanding all day...though they were lucky to escape the dinosaurs!

Our final crafty kids of the term
Everyone has been very resilient with their sewing and I’m sure you’ll agree the end results are fabulous. Once we popped our final touches on we had a relaxing colouring session to complete club tonight as well as juice and biscuits x

Year two have enjoyed tasting a range of different food combinations and deciding what is tasty and what is not. They have been able to identify different food groups and they know how to decide which group something belongs to. They have been able to produce their own healthy wraps/ sandwich’s using a range of ingredients. Well done Year two! 🥬🥙🥪🥒🥗
