🌿Celebrating outdoor learning at Newcastle High School for Girls 🌿
We’re delighted that Newcastle High School for Girls has been shortlisted for Early Years Setting of the Year at the prestigious Tes Schools Awards 2026!
This national recognition shines a spotlight on our inspiring Early Years provision, where outdoor learning plays a central role in helping children grow into confident, curious, and independent learners. From forest school adventures and woodland kitchen creativity to special events like Wellbeing Week and Touch of Green Week, our youngest pupils are thriving in a rich, nature-filled environment.
Set within beautiful outdoor spaces, our approach blends play-based exploration with meaningful learning, developing skills in communication, problem-solving, and early maths, all while fostering a love of the natural world.
