In the Navy โš“

On 14th May 2026, Trinity Academy Newcastle Upper Site welcomed the Royal Navy Presentation Team for an informative and engaging visit.

Learners discovered the vital role the Royal Navy plays, learning about its people, equipment, current operations, and future capabilities. They also watched short videos highlighting the important contribution the Royal Navy makes to supporting industry and protecting the UK's interests.

Our learners then had the opportunity to ask questions, and they impressed the team with their thoughtful and insightful responses. ๐Ÿ‘

To finish the session, learners took part in a series of leadership challenges, putting their communication, organisation, and teamwork skills to the test.

A fantastic day of learning, leadership, and fun for everyone involved! โš“๐Ÿ™Œ

Enrichment at Whickham Thorns ๐Ÿง—๐ŸŽฏ

Learners from Maroon Group enjoyed an exciting morning at Whickham Thorns Outdoor Activity Centre, taking part in indoor climbing and laser tag activities.

It was fantastic to see the learners working so well togetherโ€”communicating, supporting one another, and showing excellent teamwork throughout the session. ๐Ÿ™Œ

One learner in particular demonstrated a real talent for rock climbing, and we hope heโ€™ll have the opportunity to continue developing his skills at his local climbing wall over the holidays.

Well done to everyone who took part for their enthusiasm, effort, and positive attitude! ๐Ÿ‘
