We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who joined us this year in our society and especially our President, Secretary, Treasurer and Welfare that helped run the society.

Thank you to those who applied for committee this year but we did not get enough applications so our society, as of now, will not be running into the 26/27 year.
This is such a shame but we want people to know it’s not the end of Latin and Ballroom at Newcastle University and if a society is put together that is strong enough, it may be able to be re-established by nusu.

We hope everyone had a lovely Easter and we are now very happy to announce that our committee elections and roles are open for the 26/27 year!
Being on committee is an excellent opportunity and is a great way to make yourself stand out on a CV or in future job roles as you develop lots of skills - so please don’t hesitate to apply!

Our class for this week will be on Friday in the NUSU opposite Luther’s!

On Friday we will be holding another taster session if you are interesting in trying Latin and Ballroom this is free of charge!
This will be structured like a normal class and so you will learn a dance routine - the dance is still to be confirmed.
Our class is open to all dance levels and we hope you can make it!

Hi everyone - on Monday we will be holding our first social since Christmas!
We have picked out some ‘Just Dance’ dances which fall into more Latin and Ballroom themes - so feel free to come along and bring some snacks if you wish!
Afterwards we are going to have some drinks at the pub but there’s no pressure to come to the pub if it’s not your thing!☺️

Our free give it a go session will be on Friday this week in the student union building opposite Luther’s!
This session is open to everyone! Whether you’re a dancer looking to do some extra classes within uni or a complete beginner who would like to start Latin and ballroom, we hope you can join us!🪩🪩

Welcome back! We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas break and that exams weren’t too bad if you had them!
On Monday there will be another societies and clubs fair and we hope you can visit us so we can share with you what we are planning for this semester!
Classes should be returning to normal in the coming weeks and we will be offering a give it a go class so are looking forward to seeing our returning members and hopefully seeing some new members as well!
