NOVUM Festival Newcastle - 7-9 August NOVUM Festival is back this Summer with a three-day takeover of creativity, entertainment and unexpected moments across Newcastle city centre.


Today we celebrated our annual Connor Mooney awards, where we celebrate a boy and girl in each class who have shown resilience, determination and who have stood out to their teachers.
One boy and one girl from across school also receive a Connor Mooney award trophy for standing out for all the right reasons. This year, the overall winners are Millie Selkirk and Sejan Peththa. Well done to all the winners this year for being brilliant. Also need to mention how wonderful all of the children in school were - being genuinely happy when their friend or classmate got an award.
Happy, safe and loved in action.

We're very happy to confirm that school will re open tomorrow. With very warm weather forecast, children can wear their school PE kit. For those in uniform, no ties needed. Please remember to send in sun cream and hats. See you in the morning.

Due to a utilities issue, school will be closed to all children tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd June 2026. We aim to reopen on Wednesday 24th June and will keep you updated. Sorry for the short notice.

Well done to these wonderful children who received Cracking Character awards today. These are given for showing excellent attitudes; working hard; being a good friend or being a role model in school.
