One Nation Childcare is an Ofsted registered nursery that has achieved a ‘Good’ rating in September 2019. We provide high quality childcare for all children from 2 years to 5 years of age by staff who are experienced and fully qualified. Our setting caters to 16 children at any given time, creating a perfect environment for your child to settle in easily and establish strong relationships both staff and other children.
One Nation Childcare was established in 2016 taking into account the diversity and multicultural background of the local population we are located in, One Nation Childcare has ensured children are able to transition into nursery smoothly with the help of our multilingual staff who can speak English, Arabic, Urdu and Punjabi helping overcome language and communication barriers to learning. We value the culture of children and their families that make them unique and would like to make sure all children are given equal opportunities from a young age.
We provide the perfect environment where children learn through play. We have a free flow policy that allows children to decide where they would like to play and how they would like to play, whether this be indoors or outdoors. Through careful observation, staff scaffold learning whilst children play and through thoughtfully planned adult led activities meeting the requirements of the Early Years curriculum and guidelines. Whilst your child is at One Nation Childcare our staff will make sure the interests of the child are the center of their learning because each child is unique!
Ofsted have described staff as “having a calm, respectful and nurturing approach who recognise the uniqueness of each child in their care. Children are happy and develop warm and trusting relationships with staff. Children from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, including those new to learning English, achieve well because staff ensure they are included, and their individual needs met. Children new to learning English benefit well from the bilingual support they receive, especially those who speak Arabic.
