On Thursday, our Year 5/6 QuadKids Athletics team competed brilliantly at Newburn Leisure Centre. Every child gave their all across the 600m, 75m sprint, standing long jump and howler throw, demonstrating outstanding effort, determination and commitment throughout the day.πββοΈπββοΈ
We are delighted to share that the team has qualified to represent Hotspur and Newcastle at next week's Year 5/6 Tyne and Wear County Finals!π

Even more exciting, they will be joined by our Year 3/4 team, who have also secured their place in the county finals. Having two teams representing our school is a fantastic achievement, and we couldn't be prouder of them all.

Tomorrow evening, our incredible Year 6 cast will perform Romeo & Juliet at People's Theatre as part of the Heaton Shakespeare Festival. π

π The stage is set! π
On Friday, our incredible Year 6 Shakespeare cast headed to the People's Theatre for rehearsals ahead of their performance of Romeo and Juliet this Wednesday as part of the Heaton Shakespeare Festival.
They've worked so hard learning their lines, developing their characters and bringing Shakespeare's famous story to life. We can't wait to see all of that hard work pay off on stage!

Another well-deserved treat for our Year 6 children! πβοΈ
To celebrate all of their hard work and effort during SATs last half term, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day of sun, sea and fun at the beach today. ποΈ
They had a wonderful time making memories with their friends, relaxing, playing games and enjoying the fresh air after a busy and successful few weeks. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved! β
