Prosper Learning Trust (PLT) will continue to provide a free school meal for every pupil during the school day.

This has been in place since January 2023 and means that children who do not receive Free School Meals from the Government can still have a school lunch at no cost to their family.

The Trustees have agreed that this support will continue until further notice.

If you think your child may qualify for Free School Meals, we still encourage you to apply. This helps your child and also gives the school extra Government funding to support pupils with resources and opportunities.

If you would like to find out more or make an application, please visit the website below, if you need any additional support please contact your child's school.

Please note that this offer only covers lunches during the school day. It does not give access to Free School Meal support during school holidays. Holiday support is only available to children who qualify for the Government's Free School Meals scheme.

Class 5 had an amazing first week back, making new friends and settling back into routines. 😀

🌟 Prosper Learning Trust is pleased to announce an important change in executive leadership as the organisation enters its next phase of growth and development. 🌟

After five years of dedicated service, Chris Richardson retired as Chief Executive Officer on 31 August 2026. During his tenure, Chris led the Trust through a period of significant expansion, strengthened strategic direction and continued improvement across all schools. His leadership has been central to shaping a resilient, values‑driven organisation with children and young people firmly at the heart of every decision.

From 1 September 2026, Gary Wright has been appointed Interim CEO. Gary previously served as School Improvement Director, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening teaching quality, developing curriculum pathways and supporting leadership teams across the Trust. His extensive experience in SEND education and his deep understanding of the Trust’s vision and values will ensure continuity and strong leadership during this transition period.

Prosper Learning Trust extends its sincere thanks to Chris for his outstanding leadership and commitment. We warmly welcome Gary into his new role and look forward to continuing our work with partners, families and communities to deliver high‑quality, inclusive education for all pupils. 🙌
