We at The Grey Society, Northumbria’s official Law society, are very excited to announce that we will be hosting our Annual Law Ball again this year. The event will take place on Saturday 27th May 2023 at the Hilton Gateshead💙💙

We wanted to make it clear that this event is open to all years of study and degrees. We would love to have you all there as it is going to be the event of the year!

Don’t forget to get your memberships ASAP as tickets will be on sale THIS FRIDAY 27th January from 6pm!

We will be selling tickets to students with a membership to our society, which is be available to buy here https://mynsu.co.uk/shop?activity_id=38 and is currently just £1.50! Student member tickets will be £35.

Or, if you know somebody who would like to attend who is not a University student, they may apply for an associate membership by emailing [email protected] and then may purchase an associate ticket priced at £45

You will find all the details on our Instagram page , and we will be in touch again with further information shortly. Last year demand was high and some were left disappointed so make sure to keep your eyes peeled and turn our Instagram notifications on, you won’t want to miss the event of the year!

🌟⭐️ANNUAL NETWORKING EVENT⭐️🌟

On Thursday 10th November, The Grey Society are holding our annual networking event! This will take place at Banyan Newcastle from 6pm until 10pm. This event will provide you with the opportunity to network with local legal professionals. This year we have plenty of solicitors, barristers, paralegals, trainees, and members of the law school attending! Previously, students have made strong connections and also secured work experience. There will also be some delicious food and drinks available.😊

The dress code is business formal and you will be able to purchase your tickets from 6pm TODAY on our NSU page. Next week you will be able to collect your tickets from us - date and location TBC.

We are greatly looking forward to it! We hope to see you there!

We hope everyone has finally recovered from freshers because on Wednesday 5th October we are holding our Grey bar crawl to start the year!

We are beginning the crawl at Habita, then Turtle Bay then event at Decades!

Not only will it be fun and a great way to meet your fellow members but there will be discounted entry and discounted drinks! 🕺🏽

Come with friends or don’t be afraid to come down on your own as it’s the perfect opportunity to mix and meet people on your course. It’s open to all years - so we hope to see you all there!

This is the new menu for the law ball. There is one starter option, two main options and one dessert option. Any dietary requirements will be followed - please state all upon booking ☺️.
