Northumbria ISOC are honoured to welcome Shaykh Yousef Alenizi this Ramadan in conjunction with One Ummah.
Join us for a beautiful night of Qur’an recitation as Sheikh Yousef Enizy leads Isha & Taraweeh on the 25th night of Ramadan.
At the Muslim Prayer Facility- Squires Annexe building

Qiyam Announcement 📣
Inshallah we will be holding Qiyam during the last ten nights of Ramadan in the MPF, open to both brothers and sisters ‼️
First 5 nights (9th-13th March): *3:30am*
Last 5 nights (14th-18th March): *3:00am*
The first Qiyam will be Monday morning (9th), the night of the 20th of Ramadan.
The first odd night Qiyam will be Tuesday morning (10th), the 21st night.
Fajr iqamah: 5 minutes after adhan
Please bring your own suhoor
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever wants to seek it (Laylatul Qadr), let him seek it in the last ten nights.” (Sahih Muslim)
“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.” (Quran 97:3)

Ramadan is here alhamdulilah, so here is some information on how we will be doing things this year 🫶
Taraweeh will beginning tonight at the MPF after isha jamaat , the second slide has the full ramadan prayer timetable, the MPF will be open 24/7 for you to be able to complete all prayers there (please make sure you have signed up your student card) ‼️
Iftar will be served daily at the MPF, please donate generously 🌙

Alhamdulilah now that exam season is over, ramadan is soon approaching, so to get us all prepped and ready we have a talk by guest speaker Abdurrahman Humble, to remind us of the importance of ramadan and how we can use this time to be productive ‼️
During ramadan we will be providing iftar at the mpf every night, so do donate however much you can with the link in our bio 🔗

as it is the winter break from university we will only be holding 1 jummah each friday, for friday the 26th of December and friday the 2nd of January the jummah prayer will be in the MPF

This week for jummah we will be holding the prayer in the MPF as stage 2 will be occupied for other reasons!
Brother must use the main entrance and the sisters must use the back entrance a video will be made to show the entrance for the sisters so please do look out for that !
Asr will follow after the second jummah in the MPF.
InshAllah we will also be collecting donations for jummah as well so please if you have anything to spare do donate ✨
