Whickham PlayZone is a Ofsted registered childcare setting The setting supports ‘free play’ for children ages 3-12 years.
The setting is based behind Front Street Primary school which provides access to a varied range of activities outside of school hours 48 weeks of the year; childcare from 8am - 6pm during school holidays, term-time breakfast 7.30am - 8.45am and after school 3.00pm – 6.00pm.

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years! It's all thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. We're incredibly proud of our childcare setting, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to our work colleagues, parents and carers for their loyalty and support. We're excited to celebrate this milestone with all of you and look forward to another 20 years looking after your lovely children!"
