This week, Behjat Omer Abdulla will talk to us about his work followed by a workshop. Limited spaces available.

Behjat explores the notion of identity in his work since he first found himself in a state of exile trying to gain recognition by the Immigration system in the UK. It has been over thirteen years since he left his native land, Kurdistan-Iraq.
As a mixed media artist working mainly with drawing, photography, and video installation, Behjat aims to create a platform for debate around the issues raised by listening to people’s stories.

Welcome Back to 2012 with a Video Forum Special
Iain is a freelance producer and curator with an interest in site-specific and moving image work. For six years he worked as Programme Manager at Forma Arts and Media developing and touring interdisciplinary projects worldwide. He is Producer for AV Festival 2012 and also runs Modern Empire, working with artists to produce limited edition prints.
Iain will be doing tutorials with students from 2.30pm.
