Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Newbiggin

In July, we enjoyed a variety of fun activities! We've been discussing litter and the importance of caring for our planet. To keep the World Cup spirit alive, we made our own flags and lion masks. We've also been experimenting with different tools to make marks and exploring what colours we can make and lots more🖌✨⚽️

On Saturday we held our yearly Graduation for the pre school children who are leaving for school in September!
Thank you to everyone that came along to celebrate with us, we wish all the children the best of luck in big school 🎓🪩🥳

To celebrate Armed forces day last week pre-school children thoroughly enjoyed learning about Daisy's dad and his role in the army this afternoon.
Pete brought many interesting items for the children to explore, and they posed some fantastic questions for him as well.

Thank you very much to Daisy's dad for visiting us.

Our children moving up to reception this year had a wonderful trip to White House Farm. They enjoyed a guided tour, fed the animals, took tractor rides, and played in the park whilst soaking up the beautiful sunshine from this week. 🪿🐴🐖🐑🌞🌞

June has been a very busy month at nursery! We've enjoyed a range of exciting activities, including our Father’s Day stay and play event, visits from Zoo Lab, and the start of our World Cup celebrations. We also celebrated World Picnic Day, World Dinosaur Day, and World Insect Week. Plus, we've had fun trips to the field and plenty of water play to help keep the children cool during the warm weather!⚽️💦☀️🐜🪱

To celebrate Father's Day, we invited our male parents and carers along for a visit from Zoo lab. The children got to explore a variety of different animals and even had the chance to hold them🐜🐍🦟🐭

Dont forget about our summer fair tomorrow from 10 to 12:30!

Tomorrow, Leanne begins her maternity leave, and she will certainly be missed in the nursery during her time away.

I’d like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to her for all the dedication and support she has given me as a manager.

We’re also excited to welcome the newest member of the Bainbridge family! 💙💙💙

Early Words Together
5-6 week programme for parents/carers and their 2-4yr olds to help develop literacy, language and communication skills.
