Happy Easter!
Hope you're enjoying the long weekend. Classes still on through the school holidays - cash only on Wednesday.

A massive well done to everyone who trained this week in the holidays and apparently there was a football match on tonight?
Everyone put in excellent effort and really listened to the instructors. The quieter classes during half term are an ideal time to take advantage of more one-on-one time with instructors to really finetune the techniques.
Another bonus class for brown belts and above; this week we worked on footwork and then had some fun with the speedchute.
Back to it next week - six classes to the coloured belt grading!

We had the first of our extra training sessions for the brown belts and above last night.
This is an optional extra half an hour after the Wednesday class so that the higher belts can get to work on some more difficult techniques; grading specific exercises; and higher contact sparring. This week was some padwork.
The best part? It's already included in the price of the class - no extra charges here!

Merry Christmas to all!
Eat all the chocolates. Appreciate all your gifts. Hug your family. Watch the Christmas films. Dress your pets up in festive outfits (or is that just Mrs Johnson who does that...)
Thank you for the many gifts and treats. Enjoy the break and we'll see you in January.

Thanks all for a wonderful awards night and christmas party.
Congratulations to all students who earned their new belt or a trophy. Not everyone passed these gradings but it's never a failure unless you quit. Everyone's journey is different and a setback is just a new challenge.

Well done to those who took their bones and muscles exams and the physical black belt grading this weekend.
This is a TOUGH physical grading and the resilience shown from all candidates was outstanding.
All candidates remain in their grading until the Awards Ceremony on 19th December - so congratulate them on their hard work but make sure they keep it up until then!

Well done to those that took part in the black belt fitness test today. Much nicer weather than last year - in fact that much sun they failed to get a photo with everyone's eyes open!!
Also today we had the brown belts taking their grading to earn their brown and white belts. Lots of hard work again and everyone should be proud of themselves.
Still some more tests for the black belt candidates but then everyone will find out their results at the Christmas Party/Awards night on December 19th (details to follow shortly!!)

If you would like to support you can donate via the QR code or the link on the facebook post (Instagram links don't work). Tickets also available for the event if you want to support in-person.
