Forest School, Elderflower Cordial……
From our foraged elderflower flowers our Sunflower children have been investigating how to make elderflower cordial, each scientific step enabled our children have an understanding of each process.

Keeping cool on a very hot day…..curtains drawn and a light box provocation. Our Poppy team member Kasey created a beautiful set up to provide intrigue and investigation work as our children used the transparent coloured materials to build, move and construct with as they tested their own ideas and theories.

Herve Tullet……Mix It Up
On a neutral base of white our Daisy babies have been collaborating on a large scale art piece in conjunction with Herve Tullets philosophies of experimenting, imagination and creative expression.

Beautiful Botanicals….Ferns
By using digital technology our Sunflower children have been able to study ferns in great detail, giving them an understanding of the science of the plant.

The wonderful work of Herve Tullet…one of our favourite artists and children’s author. Herve brings together coloured lines and spots along with physical actions. Our Daisy team have used his colour palette throughout their work as they paint, pull and peel… 🔴🟡🔵

World Environment Day…..not just a ‘one off day’ for our setting, but an ethos built into our amazing curriculum. Developing an awareness of nature, animals and our planet through creativity, literature and recycling.
