AGM is today (2nd may) at 3:30 in the agriculture common room

Hi everyone

The AGM fro the Environmental and Soil Science Society will be held next Wednesday 2nd May at 3pm in the agriculture building common room.
Please can all members who are available attend as we will be voting on the committee to run the society next year and student union rules say 50% of members have to be in attendance for a vote.
Coffee and cake will be provided as always.

If anyone is interested in joining the committee please get in touch ASAP.

Great afternoon making beeswax candles with Newcastle University Bee Society!!!! Thank you to everyone who came along.

Hi everyone

As one of our last events of the year we have arranged beeswax candle making with the Bee Society for Wednesday 14th march!

We'll be making them in the students union at 2pm in the area opposite Subway on the lower ground floor near Luther's (issues with setting off fire alarms in a closed room).

There are only 10 spaces available so if you would like to attend please email [email protected] to book your place by Tuesday 13th March.

The activity is free of charge but we will be collecting money for a bee based charity (yet to be decided)
