Black History Youth Awards 2024 🌟

Congratulations to our youth member, Peace, for being awarded Taste Of Africa North East Black History Youth Awards Positive Role Model Award🏆 at this year's award ceremony.

Peace received this award in recognition for being a positive influence on our young people and the wider community. She has taken part in a handful of media opportunities, speaking up on issues that matter to her & her peers.

What an inspiring young person you are, Peace!

We can't wait to see the incredible impact you will continue to have on our community and the world.

A big thank you to Taste of Africa North East for providing a platform that acknowledges and celebrates the incredible talents of our youth, fostering a sense of pride in our heritage, and inspiring future generations.

Can you believe it’s already been a month since the Black History Youth Awards Dinner?🤩

What an amazing night it was!

We celebrated together with so many young people who inspire us and who will surely make a big difference in our communities.

The Taste Of Africa North East Black History Youth Awards are all about honouring Black youth, celebrating their achievements, and highlighting positive role models. These young people remind us of the power of hope, hard work, and community.

NOT TO BE MISSED: Black History Month celebrations 🙌🏻 Book Readings by 3 local authors: a biography, a collection of poems and a first time novel.
