•• WHAT IS THE ALPHA COMPLEX? •• In 2016 I had a calling to make something that would help people who were struggling with poor mental health. I hated the idea that people could be suffering and have no one beside them to help them out of their hole. Day-by-Day, I acquired new knowledge, everyday learning about methods to assist my personal growth and give me the tools to support others. On this journey, with myself and a very close friend at the helm, we re-wrote the concept of BEING ALPHA, as defined in our book - The Alpha Code. This focuses on the idea that everyone radiates Alpha or Beta energy - *You are not a fixed Alpha or Beta, you move in and out of each, depending on your mental, emotional and physical disposition*. Two apps, a philosophy, wellbeing and community men’s focus group later, and one-to-one mentoring sessions available, as well as our apps ability to deploy into businesses and other environments with ease, and here we are, still moving forward, on to our next destination! Our quest is the same as it always has been -> ‘To be a beacon of light for those around us. To lift others. To leave a positive footprint on this Earth’. When this is your main purpose, life becomes a pleasure, as all you have to do to fulfil your destiny is every day do something that will ultimately benefit yourself and others. Today, with over 100,000 words of educational content created for our unique learning system, a wellbeing book club starting in a few weeks with , and many people using our app to enter inputs on a regular basis, The Alpha Complex continues its quest to make a difference. This has been a life-changing journey, and it will continue until the end of my days. Thank you to everyone who has supported Ben and myself on this quest. •• PYRAMID 9 •• I have had the pleasure to mentor some great people in the past few months. I truly believe that one of the biggest errors that we have made in society is not allocating mentors as normal guidance for people, where they have someone to bounce off their ideas, thoughts and emotions, and open up to on a weekly basis. High quality mentors give you the space, understanding and knowledge to grow. Often, the overwhelming roots of emotion grasp at people’s ankles and prohibit them from moving forward with clarity. Having someone with wisdom, experience and non-judgement to help them unravel the mysteries of life, whilst also discussing ancient myths from the past, archetypal constructs that dictate behaviour, and setting out routes and ideas that help them enhance their understanding of the world - This is the basis of my mentoring programme. My goal is to assist you in perceiving your life differently - To change the language you use internally and externally - To help you view the deeper layers that have gone unnoticed. From helping you understand the importance of where you have been, and what has shaped and moulded you, you gain heightened awareness and enlightenment to make the right decisions going forward. Whilst on our journey together, my clients learn to view reality through a different lens, and using the Zone Tracker App to enter inputs for deeper analysis, they step into realms that most of the time are left barren or problematic. We go into each cave with a flashlight. There, we find the power for change and transformation, which they take back into their normal lives. •• LIVE WELL WITH CANCER CHARITY WALK •• Tomorrow, Ben Elliott - co-founder of The Alpha Complex and member of our men’s group - The Alpha Collective - is walking 33 miles around North Tyneside for the charity . This was supposed to be a group challenge, but with the local restrictions put in place, is going to take the walk on alone, all in the name of supporting the charity with their fantastic work. are supporting those affected by cancer in our region. They are early in their journey, but they are committed, knowledgable, and they have the skills to make a difference 🔥 Ben has been one of my closest friends for around 12 years now. We lived together for 5 of those, where we won the gameshow - Pointless - and have written over a million words (in unison) in various disciplines as screenwriters and novelists. He is a confidant, a brother, and with his kindness and intelligence as superpowers, he is quite literally in a league of his own. As you can see from these words, he has played a part in the shape of my mind, of who I am as a person, and he is also firmly indented into my heart. Well done, brother. •• 33 MILE CHARITY WALK •• When myself and 14 other GOOD MEN realised that we had aspirations to be GREAT MEN, we decided to meet every two weeks in locations around North Tyneside to talk about all things from what it means to be a man, to psychological and emotional ideas about being human, and to work on ourselves to acknowledge what might lurk deep within our personal shadows. So far, these meetings have been excellent and I’m very proud to be part of such a strong and promising team of open, compassionate and high quality men. When we created the collective, an arm of this was built for community purposes, where we agreed that focusing on the people and environment around us was integral to becoming great versions of ourselves. With that in mind, we have accepted the challenge of walking the circumference of North Tyneside (33 miles) in one day - for the brilliant charity - . Making their mark in the local region, the charity assists people in living well when diagnosed or affected by cancer. Make no mistake about it, in the middle of a pandemic, I’m definitely not conditioned for long journeys. But I’m going to try my best. Why? Because are supporting people in the area I was born and raised, and THE ALPHA COLLECTIVE are unraveling the journey of hope and greatness. •• THE SHADOW •• The world is made up of polarities (Masculine/Feminine - North/South - Male/Female, etc). One of the biggest and most important contrasts of them all is Light & Dark. Without one, the other doesn’t exist. Light creates shadows. These exist all over the globe, and they are visually rife at this point in human history. They are on show for us all to see. Dr Jung defines these Shadows as the hidden and dark sides of the human psyche. It is where your fears lie, repressed and submerged in the darkness. If you live your life blind to this truth, then the Shadow will play out in the form of your behaviours. But if you do Shadow-work, and go deep within yourSELF, then you can illuminate the darkness and not only change the course of your own life, but the lives of your children and anyone else who you influence. This is powerful work, if you have it in you 🔥

•• HERITAGE •• Many people speak of loving their children more than anything, saying ‘they would die for them’. Then, in another heartbeat, they are swearing, being loud, aggressive, exhibiting broken relationships in front of them, showing heightened anxiety, etc. The behaviours that are symptomatic of a dark shadow are passed on to the very youth they say they love. Like sponges, children soak it in, copying and imitating poor behaviours, creating their own shadow that they will have to deal with in the future. The outcomes are often disorders that become deeply rooted into the individual’s psychology. People then wonder why their child is anxious, depressed, angry, upset, unable to hold a relationship, etc. The marker for good parenting isn’t the physical survival of the child, as many parents would have you believe. It is the depth of the shadow you place on them from their birth 🔥
