Some experiences stay with you forever — and my recent trip to the Algarve, Portugal with Let's Ride Portugal was exactly that.

From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a holiday and more like becoming part of a family. The scenery, the riding, the people, the atmosphere — every single part of the week was unforgettable.

Andre, the German owner, is one of the most genuine people you could ever meet. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he made sure every rider felt looked after from start to finish. His passion for what he’s built shines through in every detail.

Anabela worked tirelessly behind the scenes making sure everything ran perfectly — transfers, pickups, fresh breakfasts every morning, endless tea, and fantastic homemade dinners every evening. Everything was done with care, warmth, and attention to detail that made you feel completely at home after a long day riding.

Then there’s Carlo G — the American legend himself. Mechanic, rider, storyteller and all-round top guy. The knowledge and experience he brings is unreal, and listening to his stories after a long day’s riding was part of the adventure itself.

And finally Danny — our Portuguese guide and quite simply one of the best guides I’ve ever met. Watching him lead us through the mountains and trails of his homeland was something special. Every route, every hidden track, every climb and descent — he knew it all like the back of his hand.

One thing I absolutely loved was being taken to hire scooters for the week. Having that freedom to explore between rides made the whole experience even better — especially for someone like me who never sits still.

The riding itself was next level. Incredible landscapes, challenging terrain, breathtaking mountain views and trails that pushed you while still making you smile every mile of the way.

This wasn’t just an off-road trip. It was an adventure full of good people, great memories, laughter, stories and experiences that will stay with me for life.
