Design and Technology

Year 6 from Westerhope Primary School visited DT this afternoon.

They worked with Miss Cooper and our KS3 DT Leaders to create Bird Boxes.

We were so impressed by their focus, positivity, teamwork and making skills. We look forward to your next visit.

Year 8 students have been learning about the Eatwell Guide and healthier choices in Food Technology. Today they focussed on creating dishes based on starchy carbohydrates and including a range of fruit and vegetables 🥒 👩‍🍳

In Hospitality & Catering today 10D demonstrated their making skills and understanding of ingredients by participating in a Ready Steady Cook.

Students selected a range of ingredients and created various dishes. Well done Year 10👩‍🍳
