Newcastle University is hosting the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) this year, from 9-10th April. BCUR is a national conference where students from any discipline can showcase their undergraduate research. Over the course of two days, we will celebrate and highlight undergraduate research, engage in stimulating workshops, and foster meaningful connections among like-minded peers and mentors.

MASSIVE congratulations to all our students who were nominated for the Contribution to the Workplace Awards for their outstanding work across the university and beyond in internships, placements and other work roles. π

Huge congratulations to two of our students, Andrew and Megan, who presented their research at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research's Posters in Parliament event last week.
Andrew and Megan presented their work to academics, policy makers, civil servants and MPs - including Newcastle Central's very own Shadow Minister for Science Chi Onwurah - what a great achievement! π
