A reminder that tomorrow (8th June- 12th June)is the start of our Healthy Week at Nursery.
Physical Development is one of the prime areas in our curriculum and it is so important for children’s development which helps builds motor skills, strengthens bones and muscles in preparation for using scissors and writing.
We would love the children to walk, scoot or use a bike to come to nursery. 🚶♀️🛴🚲
If you do come in the car, park on Campbell Park road and walk into nursery through the car park.
Throughout the week the children will be learning about making healthy choices. 🍉 🍌 🍒🍑🥦🍅🥕
Taking part in Sports Day on Wednesday 10th June and Yoga on Thursday 11th June. (children to wear comfortable clothing and trainers). We will share photos on tapestry.
If you have any photos of your child making healthy choices please send them to their key worker using Tapestry.

We are currently developing a potted herb garden in our allotment. We need lots of pots to make this a success. If you have any unused pots at home we would greatly appreciate them.

Community Links - Hebburn Library
The amazing Hebburn Library team visited our Little Acorns this week to share stories and songs. Our older main nursery children walked happily in the drizzly rain to the library. Whilst there the children enjoyed a valentines story, crafts and sang songs with musical instruments.
It was a huge success and we will continue to work closely with our library team. The library team commented how fantastic our children are.
We would like to thank our families and carers who support us to make these trips possible. We will continue to visit the library each term.
