Experience of working with young people is essential, including those with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and EHCPs (Education Health Care Plans).

The role will include matching young people to suitable work experience opportunities, supporting them whilst on placement, and regular reviews with employers.

Join us for a welcoming coffee morning at Westgate College as we raise money for Dementia UK.

Volunteer at NOVUM Summer Festival

We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help bring NOVUM to life; welcoming audiences, supporting events and creating a brilliant festival experience across the city.

With a range of roles and flexible shifts, it’s a great way to get involved, meet new people and gain hands-on event experience.
We’ll provide full training, support and everything you need to feel confident in your role.

We’re looking for people who are:

• Available across 7-9 August
• Friendly and reliable
• Positive and team-focused
• Happy to chat, help and get stuck in
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Comfortable speaking and understanding English

Key Roles Available:

• NOVUM Event Support - Be a friendly face; welcome audiences and help them explore everything happening across the city centre.
• Dominoes Support - Help bring a giant domino run to life across Newcastle city centre.
