School Halloween Disco is on Weds 23rd (KS2) and Thurs 24th October (Reception and KS1).

Great news, DJ Scott Armstrong is back again to make some noise, mix the tunes and have fun. Thanks for being so generous with your time, Scott.

And if you don't get enough of Scott's music, you can hear him on Nova Radio North East presenting Back To The 80's on Saturdays 12-2pm.

Latest total profit from the South Gosforth First School Summer Fair last week was an amazing:
£2,732.01
The school are interested in using some of the money to expand the Little Wandle reading scheme ahead of next year.

Thank you to:
Mr Adams, Mrs Pemberton, Kimberley and ALL the staff for monumental efforts ahead of the event;
To the staff and volunteers who helped to set up and run stalls, paint faces, coordinate performances, etc.
To Jesmond Ices for their donation from their ice cream sales.
To Lee Sterry's team and The Eagles for running fun sports activities.
To everyone who donated bottles, chocolate, bric-a-brac, uniform, traybakes and samosas.
And to everyone who came and enjoyed the event.

Well done to everyone who joined the SGFS park run takeover this morning! We broke the record for the highest number of participants with 222 runners - what an achievement 🏆

Quick update from the South Gosforth First School PTA after the Christmas Fair. Thank you all for your generosity and particularly to those that volunteered to help at the event.
We raised a whopping £1288.95 to help to support the school and pupils!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas (if you’re celebrating it) and a lovely break from school.

What a colourful and happy trio to welcome ewe as you come into school 😀
