St Charles’ Catholic Primary School

3 really enjoyed their Story Writing workshop at the Live Theatre this morning. They started with a warm up to get their creativity flowing, and the brainstormed some ideas for a story. We had an illustrator on hand to help us with the pictures, and an editor to proof read our work. All the children then wrote their own endings to the story and have a booklet to bring home, showcasing them as an author and illustrator! Well done Year 3 writing superstars 📝⭐️📚

A fantastic afternoon at the Swimming Gala for our Year 5 and 6 team, with everyone picking up an individual medal and coming 1st overall! What an amazing afternoon of smiles and team spirit!

Happy National Numeracy Day from Year 2! Year 2 have had a fantastic time problem solving this morning and thinking about what makes a fantastic mathematician! We enjoyed using our number facts and using a variety of strategies to solve word problems! 👍🏼

Year 1 have been testing, planning and working as a team to create their inventions to trap the traitor!

Year 3 LOVED their traitors challenge today! Following coordinates and using a school map, the children had to find each clue hidden around school and use it to find the coordinates of the next clue! And at the end… a HUGE pile of gold coins to add to our hidden collection 💰🗺️🧭
